Taking the L.E.A.P.
At Shoreline Pet Lodge, personalized play groups are possible (fur real)!
Safety is our top priority, and Shoreline protects your pet by keeping the dog-to-staff ratio low. Shoreline Pet Lodge also recommends that all dogs wear a quick-release color during their stay.
Playgroups are determined by dog size, temperament, and energy level.
Smaller play sessions are also achieved by limiting the number of dogs allowed to attend the L.E.A.P. program daily.
L.E.A.P. delivers engaging activities and sensory experiences tailored to each dog breed, energy level, and personality.
Every day, our pet experts exert bodies, expand minds, and encourage everything from calming practices to confident play for our canine friends.
Daily Activities for Your Dog
At Shoreline, there’s no pressure to participate!
If your dog seems unsure or nervous during a new activity,
we’re happy to take things slow and go at your pet’s pace or switch activities altogether!
Each structured activity block listed below is timed,
and the sessions run on a rotational schedule throughout the day.
— The L.E.A.P. program typically has a 10:1 pet-to-professional ratio.
— Toy Time generally has a 6:1 pet-to-professional ratio.
— Never-Bored Brain Games normally consist of a 2:1 pet-to-professional ratio or 1:1 individualized attention session.
A pre-paid deposit for a daycare reservation is required.
What Can Pets Expect on L.E.A.P. Evaluation Day?
— Upon arrival, Shoreline Pet Lodge staff will have a friendly meet and greet with your dog.
— First, your pup will be introduced to the L.E.A.P. space alone.
— Once settled, your pet will become introduced to other dogs individually.
Please know that not all dogs are a good fit for doggy day care — and that’s okay!
If your dog seems uncomfortable during an evaluation, they will be relocated to an individual suite (with bathroom breaks and fresh water) to try the evaluation again in the afternoon.
If your dog prefers the company of human friends, we’re happy to suggest alternative options to keep your canine’s tail wagging.
